The New Steine Bistro has been awarded the AA Breakfast and Dinner Award for outstanding quality and service.
Our Breakfast Buffet has a selection of freshly baked croissants, delicious Danish pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, selection of cheeses and cold meats, and fruit juices. Not to be beaten, the hot menu has a selection of English, Vegetarian or Vegan options, with all produce locally sourced and supplied from Sussex farmers.
Breakfast is available between 8am to 10am midweek and 8.30am to 10.30am at weekends.
For those with an early start breakfast is available from 7am. Fancy being pampered even more? Take advantage of our relaxed breakfast times and order continental breakfast in your room until 10.30am, at no extra charge. Go on - treat yourself!
In the evenings the New Steine Bistro transforms into a cosy Parisian restaurant, offering homemade French cuisine along with British fare. Surrounded by regular Art Exhibitions and mellow, chilled music, our boutique hotel is the perfect place to enjoy exquisite food in a welcoming environment.
Now open 7 days a week, with a choice of an extensive a la carte or daily 3 course special menus, we are able to offer something to suit all tastes.

We are now pleased to offer a select snack menu available during the day and evening. From 'Tarte du Jour' to 'Steak and Chips' there is always an option for you!

*Please note that, as we are a small intimate venue, we are unable to accept children under the age of 3 years old within the breakfast room, restaurant or bar. However room service breakfast and dinner can be arranged.



Supper Club is Back!
Our famous Supper Club is back as part of the Food Festival Spring Harvester Week supporting the Rainbow Fund Charity as always.
French chef Fabien will be mixing local products with French recipes served with a complimentary glass of wine per course carefully selected by Henry Butler from the Butler Wine Cellar.
