Terms & Conditions of Booking

Room rates include tax and service charge.

A credit/debit card is required to book your room and hold it for you for your required arrival date. We accept all major credit cards – Visa, MasterCard, Amex. No charge is made at this stage, as payment is required on arrival at the Hotel, except for prepaid bookings only (as listed on the package) where your credit/debit card will be charged once the booking is validated. Please note this rate is NON REFUNDABLE NOR CANCELLABLE.

We reserve the right to pre-authorise your card in advance of your arrival, within the allocated cancellation period, to ensure sufficient funds are available to cover your booking.

In case of cancellation;

– less than 7 days prior to arrival for weekday bookings (Sunday to Thursday);
– less than 14 days for weekend bookings (Friday & Saturday);
– or in case of no-show;

we will charge for the amount of nights we have not managed to re let on your behalf, to your credit/debit card, however this is at the discretion of the Proprietor, and until this decision is made, you are liable for the entire value of the booking.

Please note that during major conferences and events (including Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays) there is a 30 day cancellation policy in operation. Anything else on top of the above, that is not listed above, you will be contacted on booking to confirm the policy if it is outside of the usual.

Any group bookings for 4 or more rooms may be required to provide a non-refundable deposit and will be subject to a different cancellation policy, as advised.

Any bookings made over the Brighton Pride weekend (End of July/Beginning of August) will have the first nights non-refundable deposit taken at the time of booking, with the remainder due 30 days prior to arrival.

Check In

Check-in time is guaranteed from 2pm, however do come to the Hotel as soon as you have arrived in Brighton and we will do our best to accommodate an early check in. If this is not possible we will gladly store your bags free of charge until it is ready for you. Check-out time is 11am and again we can store your bags free of charge for the day, should you wish to stay and enjoy Brighton. Late check outs can be arrange for a charge, and are subject to availability. Any un-authorised late check outs will be charged to the card provided.

On occasion we may need to reallocate your room to one of our alternative properties located within walking distance. In this circumstance you are guaranteed a room of the same standard or better.

The new GDPR and our obligation to you.

In line with the new GDPR coming into force in May 2018, we are required to inform you of data that we maintain about you. This may be provided directly via our enquiry forms or online booking, via a third party, or within any other communications with our properties.

Information collected may include Names, Locations (including addresses with postcode), Contact Telephone or Email details, as well as preference details (such as previous stay requests, room type preferences, etc…). We do not request or store any ‘sensitive’ data, and financial data (such as credit/debit card details) are only held for as long as reasonably expected, in line with PCI compliance.

If you do not want us to use your data in this way, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes, please ensure you do not choose the ‘opt-in’ section on relevant documentation / online forms. Alternatively you can opt-out at any time, having originally opted-in, by clicking the link on such emails to unsubscribe.

People can also ask for their personal data to be deleted at any time – if it’s no longer relevant. This is known as the right to be forgotten. Please note this will only apply to data collected that is not required to be maintained by alternative current laws, such as requirements for HMRC data for financial transactions, and basic stay data in line with UK Border Control requirements, including Name, Dates of Stay, Nationality and Next Destination (along with passport/ID details for non-UK residents).
